Pathari is a rural village in the Kailali district of western Nepal, 20 km from the Indian border. The village consists of 36 poor families, who are at high risk of ending up in human trafficking. At present, these families live in substandard sheds that are continuously destroyed and must be rebuilt after the monsoon period. Do Good Now has decided to help these families build their own earthquake-proof houses at low cost and with climate-friendly materials and technology.
